The Houston-Galveston Psychoanalytic Society is pleased to announce a $500.00 paper prize to celebrate the International Psychoanalytic Association's 100th anniversary in 2010. This prize will be awarded for an original paper that advances our academic, clinical and/or creative understanding of psychoanalysis. To promote generativity in our psychoanalytic community, all interested authors are encouraged to submit a paper. Deadline is September 15, 2010. The paper and prize presentation will be in November, 2010. We look forward to hearing from you!

The manuscript should be no more than 20 pages, double-spaced. Identifying and contact information must be on the cover page and the author's name may not appear anywhere in the body of the paper. The title should be printed at the bottom of each page. All are encouraged to submit a paper but HGPS board members will not be eligible to receive the cash prize.
